| We at Zion are blessed with a vibrant group of youth in our congregation, and we take their education very seriously. Zion Lutheran offers Christian education programs for youth as young as 3 years old through 8th grade. We also offer a number of education programs designed for our adult members. The youth at Zion Lutheran Church: Celebrate Jesus Christ, Share His love, Grow in faith, Build Christian friendship Serve others. Sunday School Sunday School is held at 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. from September through May. We begin with a short music session in a larger group, and then separate into smaller groups for bible education, crafts and projects. We also have small parties and a large celebration for Christmas, Palm Sunday and Mother’s Day. Confirmation Confirmation education begins with youth in 5th Grade through 8th Grade. Please call for dates and times of upcoming Confirmation classes. We look forward to walking with you as the sacrament of Holy Communion is explored, revealed in a manner that strengthens our faith within a community of love. Vacation Bible School Vacation Bible School is held annually at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls for children ages 3 and up. Summer Bible Camp Camps are available for children entering Kindergarten and up.  The Little Lutheran is a magazine for children aged 6 and under and is designed to help parents and congregations nurture our youngest members in the faith. It helps children develop a relationship with God, who loves them dearly, and with Jesus as their savior and friend. This colorful and sturdy magazine will arrive in the child's name ten times a year packed with art, stories, songs, prayers, activities, and more. The Little Lutheran makes a good gift from grandparents, godparents, parents, aunts, uncles, and others to the children in their lives. www.thelittlelutheran.org |
