Pastor Aaron Zuch graduated with his master of divinity degree from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis in the spring of 2006. He was ordained and installed on July 9, 2006, as pastor of the dual parish of St. John Lutheran Church (Thief River Falls) and Zion Lutheran Church (Warren) in the Minnesota North District of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod.
Rev. Zuch's wife is named Kelley, nee Kessler. They have two sons. Seth is now three years old, and little Isaiah was born last December. Rev. Zuch's parents live in Portland, Oregon. His wife's parents live in St. Louis, Missouri.
Pastor Zuch received his bachelor of science degree in Finance and Management from St. Louis University in 1990 in St. Louis, Missouri. Prior to heeding God's call to study for the ministry, he had worked as a cost accountant (1990 to 1992), a director of research and development (1992 to 1996), a manager of productivity and services (1996 to 1997), and a director of ATM services (1997 to 2001).
As part of their seminary training, students spend one year of vicarage under the guidance of an experienced pastor. Pastor Zuch spent his year of vicarage at Saint Peter Lutheran Church in Medford, Oregon, working with Rev. William Lehmann.
Among other interests, Pastor Zuch enjoys soccer, playing cards, watching movies, and spending time outdoors. Kelley shares his interest in playing cards and doing things outdoors. In particular, she enjoys walking, hiking, and swimming.
